I have a q, is this safe to use on younger skin ( like under the age of 30) ? My friend said using stuff like this on younger skin actually makes your skin worse!
I'm 29 and I've been using it since I was 23! There is absolutely nothing in here that would cuase skin damage to anyone. This repairs and reverses sun damage and wrinkling, It's only Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid and actually, for the last batch I made I added double Hyaluronic Acid so it's like a really thick gel rather than a serum. This is better because it gives your skin better protection against using 20% vitamin C, which could be drying to those with extremely sensitive skin. Some people may be sensitive to that much vitamin C to use in the beginning, and have to start out using it once every other day, so the extra moisturizing prevents that :)
let me re-phrase that. Putting straight vitamin C on your face would be extremely irritating, unless the ph was buffered. The addition of Hyaluronic Acid ads a really nice protective barrier and hold up to 600 x it's weight in water, keeping your skin hydrated.
For the record, there ARE people out there who use straight vitamin C on their faces! My son does that to dry up his blackheads. He's 13.
Okay. Thanks! Just wondering, and this may sound dumb, but how much do you use and when do you use it? Do you think it would be possible to add SPF to it?
It can be used at any time of the day. It's normally used in the morning and underneath makeup. It makes a great foundation primer because it's thick and gel like, so both mineral and liquid foundation really stick well to it. I don't put sunscreen in it, because I have yet to find one that isn't a huge mess of disgusting chemicals and nano-particles that may cause some people to break out and I want it to be able to be used by anyone with thick skin or even the most sensitive skin (that's why I've made it into a gel) but it can worn under a sunscreen or make-up with sunscreen.
I personally use it twice a day, in the morning and at night because I like to wake up to my face and lips feeling smooth (it'll cure chapped lips in about a day too LOL)

I would love to win. I was referred by lisaanto@gmail.com.
One more q, my friend said what she meant was that if you this stuff, it will work, but if you then stop using it for whater reason, your skin will be worse than what it was before you started using it... So you basically have to keep using it or else your skin will get really bad. Is this true?
That's absurd!
No disrespect to your friend, but I think they're confused!
If you're using it as an acne treatment, it'll clear up your acne and if you stop using it, of course you'll break out again. Or, if you're using it to smooth skin texture and wrinkles and you stop using it, of course it'll stop working because you're not using it, but your skin will return to it's normal state, not get worse. I can't see how that would even be possible.
Now, if you're using something with DMAE then it's certainly possible. DMAE will show temporary results kind of like how caffeine will plump the skin, but it actually causes skin damage. For one thing, it's dangerous to use because it weakens the skin and it also needs to be neutralized with tartaric acid before putting in a serum. Most people don't know that and they'll formulate a product with it and instead of helping, it's doing twice the damage. The ingredients in this serum/gel are the ONLY ingredients that have years and years of scientific research and blinds studies conducted to prove that they're effective.
Okay, thank you so much! I love how you are quick to answer everyones q's :-) it makes me feel like you actually care about our problem instead of our money lol.
I could use some liquid gold! trainmom at aol dot com

@ Anonymous- I do :)
Believe it or not, the price of these barely cover the cost to make them. Pharmaceutical grade Hyaluronic & Ferulic Acid have gone up to almost $30 a gram for each! Plus they cost $45/kilogram each to have shipped via airmail from Japan, because that's where it's made. I don't trust buying it from a "supplier" in the US, so I'll go right to the factory.
That's why they sell for $150ish anywhere else and the big manufactures don't even use pharmaceutical grade!
Hey!

I am 26 and my knee is already bothering me. I have played basketball most my life and continue to play. So I need some relief. This product helped my knee out tremendously and made me feel alot better while playing. Although it maybe in my head it usually is not.
